California WIC Association: Breastfeeding

California WIC Association (CWA) is working with multiple partners to improve breastfeeding rates among low-income women in California. Program goals are to increase initiation and duration of breastfeeding, particularly exclusive breastfeeding, as well as promote greater acceptance of breastfeeding as the accepted norm.

WIC Worksite Wellness

WIC Worksite Wellness is a statewide wellness initiative created for California's 3,500 WIC employees. The initiative's goal is to improve employee health, and to use the employees' personal experiences in incorporating healthy foods and physical activity into their lives to that they can act as ambassadors to their clients.
